AGL Selects KBR to Provide Project Management Services for Wind Turbine Farm in Australia

AGL Energy Limited (AGL) has chosen KBR to deliver project management services for its wind turbine farm in Victoria, Australia.

The 140 Macarthur wind farm is anticipated to be the biggest farm in the southern hemisphere. KBR provides construction and engineering services to minerals, power and industrial markets.

KBR Infrastructure & Minerals’ President, Colin Elliott, stated that the company is happy to offer its project management services to AGL. The contract further reinforces the company’s dedication towards sustainable practices.

The company’s project group will act as AGL’s representative and will supervise the contractors recruited for the project. The new wind farm project represents the fourth contract where KBR has offered its services to AGL. KBR has participated in numerous UK offshore wind farm projects. Expertise combined with knowledge proficiency further strengthens the company’s position in the global wind farm projects.
