Amtech Systems Receives New Solar Orders for January 2011

Amtech Systems, a producer and provider of manufacturing and automation systems and other systems required for the production of solar cells, silicon wafers and semiconductors, declared that its solar auxiliary company, Tempress Systems, has obtained around $32 million worth of solar supply orders for the month of January.

The orders are received from its existing as well as new clients in Asia for the supply of diffusion processing systems manufactured by the company.

J.S. Whang, Amtech Systems Chief Executive Officer, said that the current orders received by the company amply reveal the quality and depth of the company’s growing client’s base. He elucidated that the continued drive by the clients as well as the solar industry to augment the efficiency of solar cells will remain the driving  force for the increased demand of the company’s diffusion technology. He said that the company visualizes a healthy growth in the activities and will remain concentrated in upholding the successful implementation of its growth strategy.
