Sunvalley Solar Signs Supply Accord with TianWei SolarFilms

Sunvalley Solar, a supplier of solar power expertise and solar integration systems, declared that it has contracted a module supply accord with TianWei SolarFilms for the supply of 1.2 MW solar PV modules.

The accord will meet the panel supply requirement of Sunvalley Solar for it’s under contract projects in Palm Desert, California and also will assist TianWei SolarFilms in improving its market presence in the USA solar market.

Dr. James Zhang, Sunvalley Solar’s President and CEO, said that the Palm Desert project will support the power requirement of the farmers while lessening the investment on solar energy. He added that the company has entered into over $5M agreement with the farms located in the Palm Desert area and procured the required thin-film solar panels through its partner TianWei SolarFilms. He commented that his company has bought the panels at the best possible price and terms of payment in addition to the technical support extended by TianWei SolarFilms.

Lan Tao, TianWei SolarFilms’ Vice President, said that his company has a policy to supply quality solar modules with competitive pricing and payment terms to meet the requirement of Sunvalley Solar being its strategical partner in USA. He added that such supply and pricing will be continued even for the contracts achieved by the installer partners through the distribution channels of SunValley. He added that the present contract and the other agreements under discussion will provide the important foundation for the continued strategic association between the two companies.
