Volthaus, a southern Germany- based company focused on providing total rooftop and standalone PV solutions in Europe and also engaged in the selling of inverters and solar modules, declared that it has contracted a strategic joint venture with EGing Photovoltaic Technology, a solar PV module producer. Volthaus is currently expanding its participation in the solar PV market.
The signed accord will require EGing to provide 20 MWp solar PV modules to Volthaus, which the company intends to utilize in its solar projects commencing from the year 2011. Volthaus will utilize the association with EGing, a company that produces an entire range of solar products such as cells, wafers, ingots and solar modules, to diversify and improve its sales relationship. Volthaus has currently completed the installation of over 1,800 solar PV systems, which includes free standing systems as well as installations for homes.
EGing PV, through this partnership with Volthaus is benefited associating with a PV partner with presence in many regions. The company will sustain both the national and international projects of Volthaus.
