Avidan Management Completes Half Solar Power Installation on New Jersey Property

Avidan Management, a real estate development company meeting the requirements of industrial and commercial establishments, declared that it has finished half of the solar-electric system erection work over the roof top of its 17 acre property located at 145 Talmadge Road in Edison, New Jersey.

Solar Nation, a company headquartered in Portland, Oregon, had received the contract for the installation in September 2010. Solar Nation has formulated the required technology, system design and is currently continuing with the installation work. Solar Nation will erect around 17,745 patented Sun module panels of SolarWorld, manufactured in the USA, to generate 4.26 MW of clean power. The installation will be complete with eight inverters and 55 combiners produced by SMA America. The project is anticipated to get completed by May 2011.

The installation when completed will generate above 5 million kWh of clean electricity every year, which is adequate to meet the power requirements of seventeen tenant businesses in the building, which includes a large sized refrigerated frozen warehouse. The tenants will buy the clean power at a discounted price, which will eventually reduce their operating expenses. The power generated by the system will reduce around 3,750 tons of carbon dioxide emissions every year.
