Pike Research Reports Homeowners Prefer Financing for Clean Energy Programs

Pike Research, a market research and consulting company, which offers in-depth examination of global clean technology markets, has declared the availability of a new survey and a white paper titled ‘PACE Financing Consumer Survey’ showing the preference of homeowners towards renewable energy projects.

It discusses the change in mindset of the house owners in investing in energy efficient home development products, which has become a topic of discussion among the clean energy activists, administrative agencies, and clean energy industry players.

The survey suggests the use of Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) funding as an important tool for financing the renewable energy improvements at home. The PACE financing program will allow home owners to pay back the finance availed for such improvements through the annual property taxes prepared through a special evaluation o n the home. A record number of 42% of respondents during the survey showed inclination to avail such a finance program.

The web-based survey was responded by over 1,000 adults from the U.S. utilized a countrywide and demographically poised sample and included 669 single family house owners within it. The white paper goes in detail on the preferences of the consumers and their stances associated with the idea of PACE financing.
