Presentation on Photovoltaics by Hanwha SolarOne at the SNEC PV Power Expo 2011

A Chinese vertically integrated manufacturer of silicon ingots, PV cells, wafers and modules, Hanwha SolarOne, would be delivering a presentation on February 22, 2011 at the SNEC PV Power Expo 2011.

The presentation titled ‘Five Decades of Photovoltaics: Where to Now?’ would be given by the Vice President of Technology, Hanwha SolarOne, Dr. Srinivasamohan “Mohan” Narayanan. Dr Narayanan would talk about the significant milestones in the history of PVs, assess the meaning of the historical market dynamics for the solar industry and also identify the major catalysts for the growth of the industry.

Dr. Narayanan remarked that to create a sustainable growth it was necessary to gain insights into the history, present and future progression of the PV industry. He also mentioned that the close examination of the PV technology and the market trends would help create newer opportunities and also applications, which would lead to the development of the technology.

The presentation will be given at the Shanghai New International Expo Center in Shanghai China, during the period February 22-24 at the SNEC PV Power Expo 2011.
