Satcon Technology, a supplier of Utility-Scale power conversion solutions for renewable energy industries, declared that it has been chosen by relatio, a Germany-based company, to provide 39 PowerGate Plus 500 kW solar inverter solutions for the 19 MW solar installation at Tauberlandpark in Wertheim-Dörlesberg, Germany.
The project in Germany will assist Satcon to penetrate utility-scale solar market in Europe. The Tauberlandpark Ernsthof West project is already utilizing Satcon’s PowerGate Plus 500 kilowatt inverters.

The solutions provided by Satcon incorporate progressed level of utility-ready facilities to facilitate easy and simple interconnectivity to grids. The solutions can be simply incorporated into utility owned SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) systems utilizing normal communication interfaces.
Andreas Schneider, relatio Holding’s Chief Executive Officer, said that his company has chosen Satcon due to the proven capability of their PowerGate Plus Solar PV inverters in large- sized and most intricate solar power installations.
