CleanTech Innovations to Supply Wind Towers to Auxiliary Company of China Guodian

CleanTech Innovations, a clean technology solutions supplying company, declared that it has won  a $4.4 million initial accord to provide wind towers to an auxiliary company of China Guodian, a Fortune 500 power company in China and a long-time client of CleanTech. The wind towers will be supplied in 2011.

According to Bei Lu, CleanTech’s Chairman and CEO, the announced contract constitutes nearly 20% revenue earned by the company in 2010. He added that CleanTech is strongly placed to bid for more such new contracts and expected to win extra wind tower supply contracts all through the year 2011.

China Guodian is the biggest wind power company in Asia and occupies the 5th position among the largest companies in the world. In tidal power generation capability the company ranks 1st in Asia and 3rd globally. The company is estimated to own over US$68.5 billion as assets as on June 2010.
