Oerlikon Solar to Supply Solar KAI Equipment to Dong Xu

Oerlikon Solar, a company that supplies equipment for production lines for the manufacture of eco friendly thin film silicon solar modules, declared that it has received an order from Dong Xu, photoelectric glass producing company from China, for the supply of Oerlikon Solar KAI equipment utilized for coating thin film silicon.

Dong Xu will utilize the KAI equipment supplied by Oerlikon Solar as an important absorber equipment in its initial thin film silicon manufacturing line and it will shape into the central part in the thin film silicon manufacturing line. The KAI is a fully mechanized PECVD (plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition) system for large scale production of bigger sized 1.4 m2 solar modules. The equipment is formulated for the deposition of microcrystalline and amorphous photovoltaic absorption layers and forms a central part of the production line.
