Bella Energy to Erect Solar System for Town of Superior

Key Equipment Finance, an associate company of Key and an equipment finance company, declared that it has financed Town of Superior, Colorado to purchase two ground-placed solar photovoltaic systems.

The solar systems will be erected by Bella Energy, a Louisville, Colorado-based commercial solar integrating company.

The new solar PV systems will be erected at the water and wastewater treatment plants of the Town of Superior. On completion of installation, the two systems will generate over 280,000 kWh of clean energy every year, which constitutes more than 8% of the total electrical intake of the town. The proposed solar installation is expected to trim down the yearly power bills of the town by over $14,000 and the town will also get $22,800 every year as renewable energy credits (REC) from Xcel Energy.

The two solar PV installations will allow the town to have continuous cash flow amounting to over $500,000 during the expected 25 year life time of the solar panels.
