CTDC, ConSae Sign Sales Contract for Solar Modules

China Technology Development Group is an emerging China -based clean energy group that provides solar energy products by the brand name LSP.

They have made an announcement stating that Linsun Renewable Energy (LSP), a wholly owned subsidiary of CTDC, has entered into a sales contract of 20 MW crystalline solar modules with ConSae , an Italian PV system integrator. The solar modules would include 5 MW of CTDC developed transparent crystalline solar modules and 15 MW of LSP standard crystalline solar modules and it would have completed the supply by the end of 2011. Capturing European market shares has been another significant milestone for CTDC.

According to Sean Liaw (Liao Lin-Hsiang) who is CTDC’s Chief Operating Officer this 20 MW contract has accelerated plans of their expansion to the European markets whereby they could supply high quality LSP Solar modules to the flourishing Italian markets. CTDC with plans of establishing a broad sales network in Europe was eagerly waiting for the European PV market. He stated that by March 2011, the warehouse and sales center would have begun operating in Italy, which would provide efficient service to their European customers.
