EPG Solar Contracts Letter of Intent with Unique Capital for Finance

EPG Solar, a Washington, DC-based developer of utility-scale solar power projects, declared that it has signed a letter of intent with Unique Capital to receive a maximum of $200,000,000 finance.

The company proposes to utilize the funds for the construction and growth of its solar projects in the pipeline.

According to Michael Borkowski, Chief financial Officer of EPG Solar, under the prevailing stringent capital market conditions especially for renewable energy projects, the signing of the agreement improves the confidence level of the companies that signed for purchasing the power produced from the site and the companies that own the project sites. Also it provides them an extra surety about the timely completion of the projects.

Robert Babcock, Chief Executive Officer of the company explained that completing of the projects and putting them into operation in time is essential to get the top SREC pricing and to offer utmost financial gains to the hosting companies.
