Locus Energy, a company that develops web-based software for managing the assets of renewable energy systems, has announced the introduction of its latest LGate 101, an advanced power-meter/data logger.
The new product will enable the solar developers, and integrators to collect, supervise and handle the data from any solar photovoltaic systems installed at residential homes.
The LGate 101 is blended with a web-based Locus Platform, which offers a general summary of the control panel as well as patented analytic details to assist the solar operators to collect the data for the purpose of solving problems, optimizing the assets guaranteeing the performance of the solar panels and to serve the bills.
The LGate 101 from Locus Energy includes features such as an implanted ANSI C12.20 class 50 revenue-grade power-meter/data-logger with in a NEMA 3R enclosure, facility to collect data related to power consumption and revenue-grade photovoltaic production details, and plug and play type of connectivity with facility upgrade from remote. The data can be accessed utilizing cellular, power line or through Ethernet networks. The inverter direct access and fault detection support feature can be used with all branded inverters. Lastly, the installation can be completed within one hour and is compatible with any inverter type.
