Emerson Associates with Sanmina-SCI to Manufacture Solar Power Inverters

Emerson, a St. Louis, Missouri- based company, has declared its intentions to associate with Sanmina-SCI to manufacture its Emerson solar power inverters at Ottawa, Ontario located production facility of Sanmina-SCI.

The locating of its production facility in Ontario will enable Emerson to meet the local sourcing demands of Ontario.

The Emerson grid-tie inverters to be produced by Sanmina-SCI are meant for use in utility level and bigger commercial level projects. The inverters are designed to convert the DC power received from solar PV panels into AC power before feeding them into the power grid. The manufacture of inverters is anticipated to commence before the year end and the inverters will be available for use in solar projects all over North and South America.

According to Mark Bulanda, who leads Control Technique business of Emerson as its President and leads the solar and wind energy initiatives of the company, the company has chosen Sanmina-SCI based on its established quality records and their exposure in manufacturing products with intricate technologies.
