China Sunergy Solar Products Receive UK Microgeneration Certification

China Sunergy, a solar cell and module producing company, declared that British Approvals Board for Telecommunications (BABT) has presented it a certificate under the UK Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) for the use of its solar modules within the UK.

The BABT certification valid for a period up to 24th April 2014 will allow China Sunergy to sell its solar panels in the UK by utilizing the approved product mark of MCS. The approval will also allow the company to further expand its client’s base in the UK and to build brand quality for its solar products.

BABT is a qualified MCS certification body and rated one among the leading certification bodies globally. The MCS certification process is aimed at reducing the dependence of UK on fossil fuels and to cut down the carbon dioxide emissions within the country. MCS confirms the policies of the government in the use of low carbon generating renewable energy technologies and sustains the attempts of the country in achieving the EU 2020 targets for renewable energy generation.
