SunRun, a home solar company, has declared the introduction of a new way to enable homeowners in Oregon to avail cost-effective solar power.
The new scheme introduced by the company allows homeowners in Oregon to install solar panels with a low level of initial investment and use the generated power without the trouble of owning a solar system. SolarRun on its part will invest for the system, complete the installation, own and maintain the facility for a period of 20 years, thus allowing homeowners to use solar electricity.
SunRun currently conducts its business by forming a network of installation partners who have deployed over 3,000 workers across eight states in the US. In Oregon, the company has partnered with REC Solar, Imagine Energy, Sunlight Solar Energy, RS Energy and SunWize to complete the solar installations for homeowners. In Oregon, SunRun currently provides its services to locals in the service areas of Pacific Power and Portland General Electric.
According to Lynn Jurich, President and Co-founder of SunRun, the company has managed a way to make solar installation cost-effective for the Oregonians.
In a span of four years, SunRun has earned its name among the residential solar companies in the US. During the year 2010, every eighth homeowner who opted for a solar installation has chosen SunRun.
