Stevinson Ranch Golf Club, a California-based golf course, and Cenergy Power, a solar power developing company, have declared the construction commencement of two solar photovoltaic systems.
The planned 113 kW ground mounted solar system and the 82 kW carport solar facilities will generate enough power to meet the power requirements of the clubhouse and lift pump, owned by the Stevinson Ranch.
Cenergy Power was chosen to develop and build the solar facilities owing to its expertise in project management and engineering. The installed solar systems will produce over 300,000 kWh of green solar power every year. The power generated from the facilities can be equated to offsetting more than 460,000 pounds of carbon dioxide every year and can be equated to planting pine trees over 45 acres of land area every year.
As per the signed accord, Cenergy Power, will provide the required design and technology for developing the solar facility and completing the installation and also offer operations and maintenance (O&M) services at regular intervals for a period of 10 years. The O&M services include total system warranties, touch-free cleaning of panels, and preventive maintenance, and repair.
