QSolar Limited declared that they have sent a trial quantity of 56x230W panels to complete the validation phase for three separate projects that sum up to around 37MW after coming to an agreement with Solwin Moroc Sarl, the Moroccan branch of Allied Solwin Limited UK.
Allied Solwin is a UK-based company into renewable energy consultation and represents customers as well as investors who are looking for solar power projects.
The three Moroccan solar energy projects include installations of 1, 6 and 30MW totaling to an amount of US$51.21 million. The shipping of demonstration solar panels to Morocco marks the beginning of QSolar’s entry to the growing African market. Africa has a considerable dearth of electricity, they do not have a consistent electricity supply system and in several remote areas there is no electricity at all. QSolar’s novel solar panels can go a long way in solving many of Africa’s power problems.
QSolar manufactures solar photovoltaic panels in China with its patent-pending, in-house Spraytek process and its own models. QSolar Spraytek panels have benefits such as reduced losses in hot climate, high quality solar cell encapsulation ensuring higher safety and better life, and are quite economical. Another special feature of these solar panels is that they have a positive tolerance that guarantees that you always get 5% more than the standard specification.
