Etrion, a solar power company, and Phoenix Solar, a PV systems integrating company, declared that they have entered into a new accord to construct a 2.6 MW solar power plant close to Nettuno in Italy’s Lazio region.
Phoenix solar will provide design and construction work and also offer maintenance and operations services for the facility, while Etrion will be the owner of the plant.
The proposed Nettuno solar plant will incorporate crystalline solar modules manufactured by Trina as well as SMA inverters and fixed tilt technology. The construction of the plant is anticipated to be finished by 31st August 2011. The solar facility is anticipated to generate around 3.5 million kWh of clean energy every year and earn around €900,000 before apportioning the amount for amortization, depreciation, taxes and interest.
The Nettuno solar park is anticipated to get a feed-in-tariff of €0.25 per every kWh in addition to the prevailing market price of around €0.08 per kWh. The power delivery from the project as per the feed-in-tariff system of Italy will commence in the Q4 of 2011. The government feed-in-tariff program guarantees the purchase price for the power produced from the facility for a period of 20 years from the commencement of operations.
