Applied Energy Technologies (AET), a supplier of solar mounting solutions, has declared the manufacture of Rayport solar mounting systems at its Ontario, Canada-based production facility.
The racking products are produced in an ISO 9001 certified production facility and fulfill the MicroFit and FIT domestic content needs of Ontario. The product enables the customers in Canada to benefit from government incentives provided for locally produced products.
The Canadian manufacturing facility of AET which commenced its production in April this year supplies Rayport stainless steel range of ballasted racking systems to the PV market in Canada. This product is mainly applicable for rooftop installations. The product lineup meets the Feed-in-Tariff program requirements set by the government.
Aaron Faust, AET’s Vice President of business development, has expressed his enthusiasm to commence the local manufacturing for the racking product which tasted success in the US market. He added that while the manufacture of the product at Ontario, Canada enables the company to meet the growing demand of its client base in Canada, it also assists its clients to meet the needs of FIT.
