KYOCERA Supplies Solar Panels for Masonic Home in New Jersey

Kyocera Solar along with Solar Power Partners and NJ Solar Power has completed a 1.16 MW solar power installation at the New Jersey located Masonic Home. The installation is anticipated to become functional from summer this year.

The solar installation took the needed special zoning permits from the authorities guaranteeing safety for the nearby buildings and the adjacent landscape.

The solar installation designed and erected by NJ Solar Power over the property owned by Masons has around 5,656 ground mounted Kyocera KD205 solar modules. The modules are mounted over UniRac structures in a single adjoining design. The installation is complete with four numbers of photovoltaic powered PVP 260-280 inverters. The solar installation when commissioned is anticipated to generate around 1,547,412 kWh of energy every year, which is sufficient to meet the power requirements of 145 average homes.

A power purchase agreement (PPA) entered with Solar Power Partners will enable Burlington Property, the owner of Masonic Home, to buy the power without making any investment on system installation. NJ Solar Power being the full-fledged service integrator for the project will provide maintenance services for the project all through the life time of the solar panels.
