Schneider Electric has declared its decision to participate in Intersolar North America, to be held in San Francisco from July 12-14 and showcase its latest solar solutions.
Some of the products it is planning to display at the expo include PV Box, Xantrex GT30 Grid-Tie Solar Inverter, Conext Series Grid Tie Solar Inverters, and Xantrex XC Series.
Schneider Electric Xantrex XC Series is a new range of efficient and flexible type of central inverters that can be used with any type of solar PV panel and installation. The flexible inverter which can be modified for use with voltage and power outputs equal to 680 kVA is designed to achieve a peak efficiency of 98.7%. The inverter also enables the use of DC inputs up to 1000 Vdc for increased string lengths.
Its Conext Series Grid Tie Solar Inverters are small in size and offer three-phase connectivity. The inverters are designed to provide maximum power point tracking (MPPT) feature for increased power generation in shaded places by utilizing FastSweet technique of Schneider Electric and are available in 1.5 to 20 kW model ranges. Its other product Xantrex XW MPPT 80 charge controller are designed to take up to 600 VDC level voltage from PV arrays to cut down the costs on installation hardware and wiring and makes the system installation easy. It determines the MPPT of a solar PV array to enable effective supply of 80 A of charge current to 24 V or 48 V storage batteries.
The Xantrex GT30 Grid-Tie Solar Inverter is also a three-phase bio-polar inverter that supplies 120/208 Vac and useful for constructing large sized systems. The inverter weighing 75 kg offers 30 kW power performances and utilizes a design that does not include a transformer. The cost-effective inverter is suitable for utility-interactive installations. The PV Box from Schneider is a pre-wired equipment box designed for use in large level grid connected installations. The PV Box provides a complete solution and includes features such as monitoring and communication, power control, power distribution and power conversion.
