Custom Rollforming, a Moundridge, Kansas-based producer of custom roll-formed wares, declared that it has provided its exclusively designed solar racking systems for a solar farm at Southwest Baking in Tolleson, Arizona. GREEN FUEL Technologies, the contractor of the 300 kW solar farm, has given the order to Custom Rollforming.
The sturdy double racking systems supplied by the company will be used with Scheuten 195 Wp polycrystalline solar modules, which can be installed easily and provides adequate support to the panel.
During the design phase of the racking systems, the structural engineers of the company collaborated with GREEN FUEL Technologies in formulating a simple and easy to install ground mounted solar racking system that can be used in utility level solar projects. In the design process, Custom Rollforming in addition to maintaining the cost of the product at low level also gave priority to develop a system that utilizes less level of installation space and offers quicker installation.
Custom Rollforming is an auxiliary of the Bradbury Group. It has a 52,000 ft² manufacturing facility that deploys 10 roll forming lines. The other capabilities of the company include robotic welding, turn-key fabrication and pre-punching capabilities up to 330 tons.
