Convergence Energy, a Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, located company has partnered with DEGERenergie, a solar tracking systems-providing company, to set up a solar power generation facility to generate 1 MW power.
DEGERenergie will supply a total of 114 MLD (maximum light detection) DEGERtraker 6000NT systems for installation. The company has supplied and installed over 45,000 systems in various countries globally.
DEGERenergie, has already supplied fifteen MLD tracking systems produced in Horb, Germany, which have been installed at the Delavan, Wisconsin located solar farm. The company is planning to supply the balance 99 systems in the following weeks. The new MLD technology while bringing considerable level of benefits to the clients also brings increased level of revenue to the company.
Convergence Energy on its part has introduced an innovative marketing plan to make the Delavan, Wisconsin project special. The company has created system packages each containing three systems each and offers to sell the power produced from the systems for a period of 10 years. The novel concept while bringing down the level of investment also energies the development of the solar power generation market. The innovative way of distributing the investment cost and yield over a number of investors has enabled the company to build up considerable number of solar projects in a shorter period.
