A residential solar facility installed utilizing Sunkits solar systems produced by SolarWorld have set a record among the residential solar installations completed in the USA.
The 150 kW system erected over a rocky slope besides a hilltop property in Southern California incorporates 600 numbers of 250 W mono-crystalline Sunmodules produced by SolarWorld. The installation is completed without covering a protruding hillock boulder and is installed over the racking system supplied by Prosolar Professional Solar and uses 15 inverters produced by SMA America in addition to the usual hardware electrical supplies.
The completed installation also sets up a new dimension record for Sunkit’s solar systems produced by SolarWorld. The ready to use type of system assists the electrical contractors who look forward to performing solar installation in addition to their normal work such as collecting site related details from their clients and performing electrical installations at the installation site. The contractors depend on SolarWorld to tailor-make each system to their requirement and the distribution partners of SolarWorld for placing the orders and for delivering the systems at the client’s site.
The installation of the system at the hill slop was completed by SRC, a Vista, California- based electrical contractor and developed by Consolidated Electrical Distributors’ branch facility at Ramona, California.
According to Eddie Freeman, CED-Ramona office’s Manager, the Sunkit systems saves the electrical installers from the trouble of studying and understanding the details of improving the solar system’s performance and scheming for the right type and number of solar systems for the solar projects.
