GreenShift has declared its successful fulfilling of a license accord with Advanced BioEnergy and productive commissioning of an ethanol plant in Fairmont, Nebraska.
The plant incorporates the patented corn oil extraction expertise supplied by GreenShift and will produce 110 million gallons of ethanol per year.
As per the contracted terms, GreenShift has provided the design for the plant and helped Advanced Bioenergy in the building of a system that used the patented corn oil extraction procedure of GreenShift. The installed system also incorporates two Alfa Laval Disc Stack Centrifuges to achieve top level performance. GreenShift will also provide Advanced Bioenergy with continuous technical support to improve the functioning and the resultant benefits of the installed corn oil extraction facility. The signed accord will also enable Advanced Bioenergy to get access to the proprietary portfolio of GreenShift’s technologies to support its attempts to improve the revenues from the by-products of corn oil extraction.
According to, CEO of Advanced BioEnergy, Richard Peterson, his company has chosen the GreenShift designs for its lower down time and high yielding attributes. He added that the successfully installed system enables the company to extract the desired level of ethanol extraction without the need of utilizing chemical additives. The made to order type of system designed by GreenShift is anticipated to pay back a substantial amount of investment within a year.
