Envision Solar International, a renewable energy infrastructure ware designing and developing company, declared that it has broken ground to deploy its Solar Grove for a utility in California.
The installation includes Solar Tree constructions over a high visibility platform of a modern facility, which will remain open to the public.
The Solar Grove installation will comprise Solar Tree constructions of the company, which includes energy storage facilities as well as the column-integrated CleanCharge CI electric vehicle charging facilities. The Solar Tree structures will also have EnvisionTrak, an exclusive multi-axis solar tracking expertise of Envision Solar to augment the power generation capabilities of the installation by around 25%. The new and patent pending technology was released by the company recently and it is working perfectly in a range of installation in the USA. Envision Solar International anticipates completing the installation before the end of 2011.
According to Robert Noble, Envision Solar International’s founder and chairman, globally, a number of utilities are switching over to distributed solar power generation and most of them value the social, ecological and economic benefits offered by the Solar Tree. The Solar Tree structures supplied by the company along with the tracking technology while increasing the clean power generation by around 25% also has shade providing features and EV charging facility.
