Sustainable Energy Technologies has declared that the company has signed a non-exclusive agreement with a leading manufacturer of the photovoltaic (PV) unit in China. As per this agreement, Sustainable Energy Technology’s solar modules will integrate PARALEX inverters to cater to the solar installation markets in United States.
The Chinese PV units manufacturing company will target aproduction capacity of greater than 250MW for the year 2012. In the agreement, it is stated that the Sustainable Energy Technologies will promote the parallel system architecture and also offer technical support and system design.
Michael Carten, Sustainable Energy Technology’s Chief Executive Officer, stated that this agreement between the company and leading Chinese PV unit manufacturer shows the increased demand for the PARALEX inverters. Carten said that the company believes that the small commercial and residential systems are bundled with the solar PV module devices in order to decrease the transaction expenses and to avoid custom engineering and thus minimizing the overall installation complexity.
Carten added that the PARALEX inverter enables standardized bundle packages, which can be customised in sites as per system size requirements and site conditions, which will help reduce the complexity in system planning and distribution of the packages. Carten concluded that there is positive response from the market for the PARALEX’s values, which helps the company to get OEM partners, which is critical for its sales team.
