Sorubin has been recognized as one of the three hottest cleantech startups of Sweden in the ‘Greentech Top 3’ annual competition for 2011.
The company secured the Greentech Top 3 honor as one of the three hottest cleantech startups in Sweden at the Greentech Day in Stockholm, on Wednesday. Greentech Day conference is organized by the Swedish Energy Agency, Sweden’s main business and environmental publication Miljöaktuellt, the Swedish Association of Graduate Engineers, and the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth.
Greentech Top 3’s purpose is to emphasize the most promising and interesting startups of clean technology in Sweden. The jury including successful venture investors and capitalists evaluated the challenging companies in line with the criteria like market potential, products, idea of the business and management team. The motivation for giving the award to the company was for a new strength and technology, which has enormous capability for commercialization and can support the world to make it more sustainable.
Sorubin’s CEO, Stefan Sandström, stated that the company is elated to win this award. This honor has given approval for the company’s product expansion and choice of position in the market.
Sorubin is a clean tech firm based in Sweden, which has expanded recent energy-efficient aerators generation for water treatment. The company’s patented and new aerators are efficient in energy, and can be retrofitted and installed easily. The aerators from Sorubin have the capacity to decrease the usage of electricity by up to 90%.
