China Sunergy, a provider of solar cells and modules, has declared that TUV Rheinland Group has issued reliability and safety certificates to China Sunergy’s Quasar solar modules.
Moreover, in a separate deal inked with the M1 Solar Plant, Helios Power’s special purpose vehicle firm, China Sunergy has sold 1.89 MW of Qusar solar products to Sredetz Solar Park, a commercial ground-mounted project located in the Bulgaria’s Burgas region.
TUV Rheinland Group certificates ensure that photovoltaic modules offer the assured rated power reliably and safely in different environmental conditions. The validity period of the certificates issued to the Quasar modules will extend till November 2016. These certificates are widely accepted throughout Europe, paving the way for China Sunergy to strengthen the sales of Quasar solar modules in the region.
China Sunergy hopes that its modules are widely accepted in Eastern Europe. The company has begun delivering its Quasar solar modules to the Sredetz Solar Park project from mid of December 2011, with the remaining delivery slated for completion by the end of January 2012. The solar power project is scheduled for completion in February 2012.
M1 Solar Plant’s Managing Director and Helios Power’s Chief Executive Officer, Ivo Ivanov stated that the Sredetz Solar Park is a major project for the M1 Solar Plant in 2012 and China Sunergy’s superior quality and high-efficient Quasar products allow M1 Solar Plant to develop the park with advanced and dependable solar panels. China Sunergy’s Chief Sales, Marketing & Strategy Officer, Robert Rice commented that the partnership with M1 Solar Plant will help the company to widen its presence in the Bulgarian market.
