solarhybrid Commences Construction of 123 MW Vega Solar Power Plant

solarhybrid has announced that the construction of the 123 MWp Vega solar power plant in Italy has commenced. All the required approvals have been received. The connection of the 39 MWp phase to the grid is expected to be completed by the first Quarter.

The company is expecting favourable prospects in the year 2012 from Germany and Italy for demands more than 300 MWp.

The current status of the construction is that the pile profiles are being laid and the module plates are being assembled. The connection between the feed-in point and the transformer for the medium voltage line is being laid. By January 2012, the PV modules assembly will be completed and the inverters will be rolled out . The 39 MWp plant will be ready for operation by March 2102. Partners of solarhybrid will contribute towards the various phases of the construction. This is the first time the company is dealing with the complete handover of the solar power plant to the investors, hence is having the documentation ready for the handover. After the completion of the 39 MWp power plant, the construction work of the 84 MW power plant will begin. The company has lined up a number of projects, which will be executed in 2012 after the completion of the 123 MWp Vega power plant.
