Fidelis Energy has inked a long-term contract with Lagofrio Energy Solutions (LES) to supply solar modules. According to the agreement, 42 MW of photovoltaic solar modules will be provided by the company to TSEL in order to install in the development and building of several solar park sites across the African continent.
The company has shipped 76 MW of solar modules and has to deliver the remaining 131 MW for completing this long-term supply agreement with TSEL. The total value of the product is $475 million.
The company is expecting to commence shipments under this new agreement in the second quarter of 2012. It will dispatch the solar modules from its manufacturing unit in south China.
TSEL’s Managing Director, Mr. Wes L. Volker, stated that Fidelis was chosen as the partner for supplying to its huge solar projects in Africa. This fourth agreement with Fidelis and its partners is the next step towards a prosperous association. This extends and develops the solar energy operations in Africa.
The management of Fidelis has used substantial time overseas in acquiring its solar segment business associations and building, which is an essential foundation for the upcoming extension. The company is concentrating on the advancement of the production units.
