Building Turbines, a manufacturer of revolutionary rooftop mounted horizontal-axis wind turbines and other renewable energy solutions, has received positive communication from the US Patent Office (USPTO) about the company’s second patent for its rooftop mounted horizontal-axis wind power systems. The company’s management expects that that this significant patent for the turbines will be awarded shortly
John Graham, Building Turbines’ Chief Executive Officer, stated that the benefits and importance of the company’s commercial rooftop mounted wind power systems are being recognized continuously by the USPTO. Graham also added that the company with its patented technology solutions has reached the topmost position in the wind turbine sector, in particular for the rooftop fixations in commercial buildings.
The benefits of the company’s original patented design for the rooftop wind turbine systems that was awarded in the month of January 2008 are further broadened with the currently pending patents from the USPTO. The main features of the wind turbine systems such as manufacturing cost, system fixation, safety, efficiency and durability are looked thoroughly while designing the turbine systems for wide deployment on commercial rooftops including condominiums, retail and office buildings, particularly in urban fields.
Thomas Mezger, Chief Financial Officer of Buidling Turbines, commented that the company has registered additional patents related to its current research and development works, which mainly concentrate on significant difficulties and challenges to develop most creative, affordable and bulk-manufactured rooftop horizontal-axis wind turbine systems for use in commercial buildings.
