Smart Fog has declared that its top selling product, the ES100, an industrial and commercial humidifier has 90% better energy efficiency when compared to steam for duct mount and building applications.
Smart Fog Director, Ido Goldstein said that based on customer feedback, the energy efficiency is much higher than calculated previously. Other advantages of the system are that it is maintenance-free since it can independently disinfect and sanitize.
The humidifier has been designed for industrial and commercial use in over 50 different industries. Top categories are wineries, HVAC buildings and laboratories, greenhouses, printing environments, clean rooms and more.
The water size is just 4.2 µm and the spacing between air and water is uniquely engineered. Evaporation of water is only from the surface of the droplet. In case the surface area of the droplet with respect to the water volume is reduced then there is an increase in evaporation efficiency. In fact, 100% evaporation efficiency has been achieved by Smart Fog which is equal to 100% water efficiency

Goldstein stated that the success of customers enables the company to also be successful. Customers are handled on a project-by-project basis to make sure exactly what is required. It is never assumed that the same standard product size will suit all customers.
