Kyocera Solar, a manufacturer of advanced ceramics, has unveiled the 80-cell KD 315 solar module with highest output. These new solar modules are suitable for major installations such as solar-covered parking and are now distributed for US clients.
The introduction of the 80-cell KD 315 solar module demonstrates the company’s commitment towards product reliability and quality. The KD 315 solar modules, which are UL certified, have black anodized frame with UV stabilization, ground points that can be accessed easily, plug-in connectors for immediate links with quality locking, proven junction box technology together with 12 AWG PV wire to function with transformerless inverters. These modules can be installed easily and are designed for high output.
Kyocera’s continuous enhancement has contributed to its landmark achievement of becoming the only solar module producer to complete the TÜV Rheinland’s rigorous test. The company has continuously attained world record cell efficiencies.
According to the Kyocera Solar’s President, Steve Hill, the KD 315 solar module has become an excellent solution for commercial installations, which require high-output photovoltaic solar modules. The system owners can gain higher investment returns by using Kyocera’s solar modules that offer superior field performance and higher output.
