The finalized program has been declared by SMTA and SEMA for the Solar Manufacturing & Reliability Conference, which will be held at the Fairmont Hotel in California from March 22-23, 2012.
Discussions and presentations are included in the program that concentrates on the consistent testing of photovoltaic modules and areas that need future work. The solar conference will emphasize on different reliability programs, which are being conducted in the industry, and evaluate present and emerging standards in reliability and manufacturing. The work done by the photovoltaic module QA Forum Task Force groups will be incorporated in this program. These groups will submit their proposals to several IEC and other groups of global standards.
Reliability of microinverter/inverter and balance of systems and upcoming trends will be included in the conference sessions. Issues on module warranties, general hazardous problems as well as an analysis of the global outlook on solar energy will be discussed.
Apart from the solar conference, workshops on “Manufacturing Technology and Troubleshooting PV Manufacturing” and “A Review of PV Standards Including UL1703 and IEC61215” will be conducted for two half-day on March 21, 2012. IPVEA is supporting the solar conference.
