FirmGreen, headquartered in Newport Beach, California and a pioneer in developing renewable energy and fuels projects, has launched the first green energy research and development center in Kokomo, Indiana.
The new FirmGreen Labs will integrate and examine the manufacturing process from renewable energy sources, including biogas, wind and solar. The lab will enable the company to provide highly reliable and cost-effective package of advanced equipment and controls software based on the energy requirements of its customers.
FirmGreen has chosen Kokomo for its new facility as the location is known for its innovation and widely educated workforce. Hence, it is ideal for the company’s first Regional Command Center.
Steve Wilburn, CEO of FirmGreen, stated that the new lab can safely handle a diverse array of green energy sites using the patented Verde Controls technology. Thus, the technology turns the company’s Green Energy Centers more profitable to its customers and the earth.
The R&D lab will employ engineers and scientists specializing in various fields such as Real Time Artificial Intelligence, integration of several green energy sources from multiple third party dealers, unmanned intelligent controls and green energy production. FirmGreen Labs is anticipated to provide more jobs in the US labor market.
FirmGreen develops green energy projects using sustainable biogas fuels, geothermal, solar power and wind power. Currently, the company is deploying its patented biogas purification technology at Novo Gramacho, one of the world’s largest landfills located in Rio de Janiero, Brazil.
