At the Milano Salone del Mobile 2012 event, Panasonic, an electronic products development company, has planned to display its entire range of solutions used to create, store, save and manage energy. The event will take place in the April month in Milan, Italy.
The company will showcase an energy installation, which is based on the ‘Photosynthesis’ concept, thus greeting the start of a new era of renewable energy. Akihisa Hirata, an architect, has designed the installation. According to him, photosynthesis is a representation of a small ecosystem. The major goal of Panasonic is to become a top green innovation firm in the electronics industry. Using its expertise in the research and development activities, Panasonic creates, stores and efficiently uses the renewable energy to minimize the society’s impact on the environment.
The company will exhibit an energy cycle at the event. Panasonic compares this product to an ecological cycle, which starts with photosynthesis. The energy cycle first begins with energy creation using solar panels, followed by energy storage via batteries. The third step is energy saving, which is carried out through LEDs and organic LED lights and in the final step, each phase of the cycle is controlled by using an energy management system.
