Panasonic Enterprise Solutions, a unit of Panasonic, has partnered with Renewable Social Benefit Funds (RSB Funds), an alternative energy company, to install a 115 kW solar power system at the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation located in Agoura Hills, California.
The solar array will be installed on the top of a new carport structure constructed on the Hilton Foundation’s campus.
Patrick J. Modugno, VP of Administration and CFO of Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, noted that the collaborative solar project helps the foundation to minimize its carbon footprint. In addition, the financing from Renewable Social Benefit Funds will allow the Foundation to allocate resources to other charitable reasons.
The Conrad N. Hilton Foundation renewable energy project is the first joint project of Panasonic Enterprise Solutions and RSB Funds. Jim Doyle, President of Panasonic Enterprise Solutions Company, remarked that the company is delighted to work with RSB Funds, which has an excellent record of success in bringing the benefits of solar energy to non-profit organizations and other similar entities.
RSB Funds focuses mainly on delivering solar power capabilities to municipalities, airports, universities, water districts, low-income housing projects, schools, hospitals and other governmental organizations. It develops solar power projects for its customers that do not require upfront investment, offer the operation and maintenance services, and reduce energy costs.
