Niyato, an Electric Vehicle (EV) manufacturer, has announced that it is building its first six production vehicles for review and retail sale. The company has released eight reasons justifying its ability to provide an affordable EV to the public.
Niyato reported that it has learnt from the trials and errors experienced by other manufacturers of EVs. Batteries in EVs may become unusable due to “bricking,” which tends to occur when EVs are parked for more than 48 h. The system drains the battery to a point where it has to be replaced. Niyato has a patented technology that uses both hardware and software to protect and minimize the power drain in the EV batteries.
The company’s EVs feature an easily accessible emergency shutoff switch. Niyato has hired a legislative lobbying firm, 56th Command, for creating a legislative standard for the industry regarding emergency equipment for EV’s. The company utilizes novel manufacturing and engineering processes to produce affordable, cost-effective vehicles. Other EV manufacturers tend to concentrate on higher priced vehicles. Niyato uses proprietary components and localized manufacturing to keep the costs low.
Niyato has NHTSA licensing to manufacture alternative fuel vehicles including EV, E-REV, CNG and BEVs. Under the Clean Air Act SEC. 247 -Vehicle conversions, it can convert vehicles running on diesel and gasoline to alternative fuel vehicles. The company aims to provide affordable transportation by utilizing its OEM supplier network and innovative conversion process. The company has already sold its initial production in the first twelve months. The Green Automotive Company and Niyato have entered into a non-binding letter of intent for distribution of the EVs.
The company is reviewing offers from California, Texas and North Carolina states for setting up its headquarters.
