Upsolar, a company specializing in solar PV modules, has added two new systems to its range of high-quality products. They include 60-cell and 72-cell monocrystalline modules that feature 6” solar cells.
The products incorporate the same design as current solar modules and offer highest wattage levels of 255 Wp and 310 Wp, respectively. Increased wattage capacity helps in optimizing BOS expenses and installation size.
The products are based on the company’s popular modules that feature 5” cells. Wattage levels can be easily adjusted in 5 Wp increments according to customers’ power requirements. The new modules are offered in black and white backsheets that can be customized further. They comply with Underwriters Laboratory and International Electrotechnical Commission standards.
Upsolar believes that the new modules will become popular among high-efficiency technologies, predominantly in the US, and France and Italy’s building-integrated PV markets.
Upsolar’s CTO, Stephane Dufrenne stated that the new products were developed to fulfill the demand for higher efficiency products, which bring down installation costs and are quite useful for residential PV system applications, where space in the roof areas is limited. The latest innovations complement the company’s range of crystalline technologies.
The CEO of Upsolar, Zhe Jiang informed that the company strives to offer quality and affordable products. The 6” monocrystalline modules, combined with product coverage options, meet these aspects.
