Boxman Studios, a brand specialist which uses modified shipping containers for immersive branding, has joined hands with Action Marketing, an innovative agency based in Boulder, Colorado, to commence the Ford "Go Further" Tour this week.
The tour will cover 19 cities, which include Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York, thus reaching the west and east costs concurrently. Ford's 2012 Focus Electric will be promoted through this multi-city activation tour.
Action Marketing packed each modified shipping container with several 32" Ford touch screens. The containers also featured a charging station that is powered fully by solar panel technology, which is fixed on the roof of the container.
Boxman Studios' Founder and Chief Executive Officer, David Campbell stated that brands cannot just completely rely on mediums such as television anymore and Ford understands this fact. It is imperative for brands to encage themselves for an interaction with their audience and the company can assist brands to achieve this in an eco-friendly manner.
Brett Rent, Ford Account Manager at Action Marketing, informed that Boxman Studios was an ideal partner for the Ford Focus Electric tour. From the LED lights, to the bamboo floors, to the fact that the entire venue itself can be recycled, Boxman Studios emphasize the environmentally friendly message that Ford intends to communicate.
