Talesun Solar USA will exhibit its high-quality modules, produced using industry-leading robotic equipment by Reis and advanced assembly line technology by NPC Group in the world’s largest, fully-automated solar module manufacturing facility, during U.S. Intersolar 2013 at booth #7621 from July 9 to July 11.
Talesun’s 2.2 million square foot, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility opened in 2011. It features cell processing equipment from Baccini, an industry pioneer in cell processing solutions that accelerate efficiency and reduce costs. The strategic investments in leading-edge manufacturing equipment is Talesun’s model for maintaining Tier-1 level manufacturing quality while still producing competitively priced modules.
“Talesun is focused on manufacturing excellence in our production facilities,” said Eric Ma, USA General Manager. “That effort translates to quality in the solar modules we sell globally. The demand for solar in the US continues to grow every year and we are committed to supporting our customers and the growth of their businesses.”
Additionally, Albie Fong, Talesun’s Key Accounts Executive and author of the book, “Project Development In The Solar Industry," will present “Photovoltaic Modules, Product Differentiation in a Commodity Market,” at Intersolar’s Innovation Stage on July 11 at 12:00 p.m. He will explain that because PV modules are commonly viewed as a commodity, metrics, in addition to cost, will be used to evaluate and select PV modules for solar project development. Fong will discuss other evaluation metrics such as module quality and reliability, financial company health and will highlight the holistic approach to assessment that more developers and project owners are taking.
