Research and Markets has announced the addition of the "Biomass to Energy (Analyst version) - The World Market for Biomass Power Plants 2013/2014" report to their offering.
The market for biomass power plants will grow throughout the world in the years to come: 3,500 biomass power plants (BMPPs) will be operational in 2020. This is a growth of almost 50 per cent in 8 years. The situation is similar for the installed capacities: they will increase from 37.5 GWel today to almost 55 GWel in 2020.
The internationally increasing subsidisation of renewable energies is the main reason for this growth. Biomass has a special status among the renewable energies as generating energy from biomass can follow the demand - contrary to the energetic use of sun or wind.
The fourth edition of our study analyses the worldwide market for electricity generation from solid biomass. We have elaborated it in cooperation with energy agencies, public authorities and associations as well as with operators and plant manufacturers from the segment of electricity generation from biomass.
The Analyst version of the report The World Market for Biomass Power Plants includes:
- A detailed analysis of all essential political, economic, managerial and technical trends in the construction and operation of biomass power plants.
- A concrete differentiation of the current and future market volumes by country up to and including 2020, based on a transparent and comprehensible methodology.
