Renesola Announces Development of 13MW Solar Project in Dorset

Leading solar photovoltaic (PV) product technology provider, ReneSola, has declared its plans to develop a 13MW Solar Farm in England. The solar project in Dorset is expected to reach full operational capability by the end of 2014 and would also be connected to the country's energy grid. ReneSola's Virtus II PV modules are to be used for the project.

Planning consent was obtained for the Dorset project in January 2014, and the company also recognized potential buyers.This project is also entitled for the UK's support scheme for encouraging green energy generation.

ReneSola's CEO, Xianshou Li, stated that though the company concentrated on residential and retail business development, it pursues selective projects when it identifies high-value projects in its core markets and also when the projects are in accordance with the company's strategic objectives. The United Kingdom is among the fastest-growing solar markets and the 13MW Dorset project would further strengthen the company's position in the UK solar market. This project is one among a series of projects planned by ReneSola for the UK market in the coming year.

ReneSola was founded in the year 2005, and in the year 2008, it got listed on the New York Stock Exchange. The company has a global presence and a large sales and OEM network. It provides green energy products and on-time services for global green energy projects, EPC and installers.
