Suniva, Inc., a U.S. manufacturer of high-efficiency monocrystalline silicon solar cells and modules, today announces that several commercial rooftop projects in California are producing power using its premier module line, Optimus®.
Vista Solar and Suniva have partnered to power multiple rooftops in Brisbane, Hayward, Mountain View, Santa Clara, and Los Angeles, California. The foundation of the partnership between Suniva and Vista Solar was the value placed on American heritage. Georgia-based Suniva, is known for its high-efficiency American cell technology, which is used in its high-powered Optimus module line. Optimus 325W modules were used in these applications to maximize the power on the rooftops for The Vita Companies, Lettieri & Company, Tiao Peng Trading Inc., and Cathay LA, among others.
“Suniva’s recent module manufacturing expansion in Michigan provides the US solar industry on the West coast with easy access to high-quality modules from an American-owned, American-based company,” said Jaymes Callinan, president of Vista Solar. “We’re happy to have completed several projects with their modules and look forward to future installations using their premier Optimus modules.”
“We are pleased to partner with Vista Solar as we know the quality of their work speaks for itself,” said Matt Card, vice president of global sales and marketing of Suniva. “Partnerships with superior service providers, such as Vista Solar, are a key component of our delivery strategy. High-performing systems require quality products, engineering and construction.”
Suniva and Vista Solar continue their partnership to provide California with American-made solar power as they near the completion of another 1MW, scheduled to be live in June.
