Sunrise Solar Corp. today announced that it has entered into an initial agreement with the financial partners of a Brazil-based BioDiesel company to deliver solar power and heating to their first U.S. manufacturing facility. Brazil is the most energy self-sufficient nation in this hemisphere. They are now bringing innovative and proven new technologies to a U.S. market starved for efficient alternatives for transportation fuels.
Sunrise Solar has been selected as the exclusive partner for the delivery of solar power and solar heating to this new venture. The installation will include multiple solar platforms for the generation of electricity, the delivery of hot water and heating for process technology used in the manufacture of BioDiesel.
“We are excited to be part of this cutting edge, innovative project that will deliver new energy options and new jobs here in the U.S.,” said Mr. Eddie Austin, Chairman and CEO of Sunrise Solar Corp. “This company not only makes an effective alternative transportation fuel, they want the process by which these fuels are manufactured to be true green as well. We are pleased to be part of making 'green fuels' greener.”
The United States trails nations such as Brazil, Germany and Japan in alternative energy development. U.S. Companies, like SSLR are racing to catch up to solar leaders such as Japan and Germany with companies such as First Solar, Inc. and Suntech Power Holdings acting as leaders in the charge. Device companies that provide the picks and shovels needed by the industry, such as Energy Conversion Devices, Inc., also play an important role. SSLR is actively developing projects and new technologies in the U.S. but has seen the biggest opportunities present themselves in emerging markets that need to expand their access to alternative energy.
