Argus Media, an international price reporting agent, has announced that its coverage of the biomass market of the US has been expanded. The expansion will include assessments conducted at delivery locations of the local markets in light of the rise in the level of industrial wood pellets trading.
The expansion of coverage will serve to boost the existing coverage of biomass export prices in the US west coast and east coast. In addition, the expansion will boost biomass export price insights for the North American and Northwest Europe delivered markets.
Argus has launched seven assessments for the US domestic market as part of this expansion, which includes the prices of industrial grade wood pellets at different US domestic delivery locations. These assessments are available in the form of a weekly report titled, ‘Argus Biomass Markets,’ which features biomass news updates, price assessments for the spot and futures markets, and international wood pellet markets.
