Eco Heat & Power installs EcoHeat solar electric power system that comprises Kyocera solar panels. The Eco15 solar power system includes 12 KC130 HGT solar modules. The solar panels are made of semi-conductor cells that harness sunlight and convert it into electrical power. The electricity produced by the solar panel is direct current. When the solar electric system is connected to a utility grid, the generated electricity is fed into an inverter.
The inverter converts the direct current into an alternating current, so that it can be fed to the grid. The Eco15 solar power system incorporates Fronius IG15 inverter that gives a nominal output of 1,300 watts. The maximum power output of the inverter is 1,500 watts. The photovoltaic system output for the inverter ranges from 1.3 to 2KWp. The Fronius IG15 inverter takes a maximum input current of 10.8 amperes.
The input voltage range of the solar inverter is 150 to 400 volts, with a maximum input voltage of 500 volts. The dimensions of the solar inverter are 366 x 344 x 220mm, with a weight of 9kg. The Kyocera solar panels, included in the Eco15 solar power system, cover a roof area of 12 square meters. The solar electric system is expected to generate 1,170 kilowatts hour per year. The solar power system is also estimated to prevent emission of 503kg of carbon dioxide every year.
